How do I activate the Shopify AccelPay Payments App?

The AccelPay Payments App is the first 100% compliant alcohol payment app for the Shopify ecosystem. It acts entirely in the background so that the user experience is never interrupted; the customer completes the check-out experience in Shopify as they would have previously.

Installation

Before you can install the App, AccelPay needs to authorise your store to use the Payments App. Reach out to your Account Manager or to success@accelpay.io and get your Store authorised, then follow the below steps:

  1. Log in to Shopify as a Store owner.
  2. Click the installation link to install the App.
    If that does not work, visit the App Listing Page and click “Install”
  3. In Shopify, Navigate to Settings in the bottom left and then Payment in the settings view.
  4. Click Manage in the top right of the existing payment provider's bubble:
  5. On the Payments App management page click Manage payment methods
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Switch to a third-party provider:

  7. From the drop down list select AccelPay Payment
  8. Then click Activate to turn on AccelPay payments.
  9. Notify AccelPay that you’ve completed all of the above steps.
