      How do I offboard from AccelPay?

      If you no longer wish to work with AccelPay, we can help you discontinue your services. You will need to work with the partner success team through the process below:

      1. Notification: Send your Account Manager or success@accelpay.io a written notification that you wish to offboard. Note that there is a 30 day cancellation period which will begin on the date you notify the AccelPay team. 
      2. Inventory: Our retailer team will reach out to your current active retailer(s) and determine how much inventory they have left on site. The retailer(s) need to sell through the remaining inventory via online orders, so don't stop advertising your products until retailers are fully sold through.
        The other option is to purchase any remaining inventory at the retailers to clear it out. 
      3. Finances: Once inventory has been sorted, you will work with the AccelPay accounting team to close out any outstanding invoices.  
      4. Technology: This part of the process will differ if you are using the AccelPay cart technology or using the AccelPay-Shopify-Integration. 
        1. Shopify: When your offboarding period has completed, we will deactivate the webhooks in our system. This means that any placed orders will not be ingested into our system and hence not fulfilled and shipped to customers. Please make sure to switch over the banking information to your own bank account on that day as well so that you will receive any future payouts from Shopify. You can also remove the AccelPay user from your shop at this time.
        2. AccelPay Cart: When your offboarding period has completed, we will deactivate your Shop in the AccelPay Portal. This means that any placed orders will not be sent to retailers and hence will not be fulfilled and shipped to customers. We recommend that you remove the ATC buttons throughout your website and the AccelPay script in the head of your site to disable the cart all-together. You can also remove the AccelPay user from your CMS at this point.
