AccelPay collects all funds from customer orders. AccelPay then:
- Distributes funds collected for products and shipping to the retailers that fulfilled those orders.
- Charges the brand for shipping subsidies and/or product discounts offered to customers
- Separately, once per pay period (monthly or annually), AccelPay will charge the brand its SaaS fee
- As a marketplace facilitator, AccelPay collects and remits taxes for all purchases that flow through AccelPay.
AccelPay's Shopify Payments App
As of August 2024, AccelPay has introduced the first, native, 3-tier compliant payment processing app for beverage alcohol on Shopify. This ensures that your payments in Shopify are 100% compliant with the three-tier system. With the new payments app, fulfillment partners can automatically receive their funds at the time of fulfillment, expediting the payment process. If you are self-fulfilling any products (merchandise, alcohol products locally, etc.) you will similarly receive payments to your Stripe account automatically at the time of fulfillment.
